AZ Solo Fund Raiser for Ira A. Murphy Elementary School

The Steering Committee of AZ Solo has chosen Ira A. Murphy Elementary School for this year's club benefit. We will be accepting donations at the Driver's School on Saturday, December 13, and at the Autocross on Sunday, December 14, at Firebird Raceway next to the Bondurant skidpad.

Murphy's KidZ need our help! The school has a huge number of underprivileged children, (families). An active member in the Solo group, is a teacher at the school. I have personally talked to the personnel at the school, and I became very emotional after hearing some of the students' plights. The school has a Community Closet, where the students are able to get clothing and shoes, if needed; they also have food and personal items.

Please bring money (school tax credit forms will be available) and gift cards. We would like the gift cards to come from stores i.e. Target, Walmart, KMart, Kohl's, Penney's, etc., but not from Mervyn's. Grocery stores, i.e., Safeway, Albertson's, Fry's, for gift cards for groceries.

We will be giving the money and gift cards to the school. The committee at the school will be using the money and gift cards, where they have a need.
