Well, the time has come. I won’t be doing autocross again for a really long time, if ever, so it’s time to let the Miata go. It’s an STS-class car anyone who’s been around for a while will be familiar with and have watched evolve from the little white thing it was when I first brought it back to life. It has about 155,000 miles and runs strong, just passed emissions earlier this year. Now for the upgrades: the car has Ground Control coilover sleeves, Eibach springs, Bilstein shocks, custom catback with Magnaflow muffler, Raceland header and Track Dog Racing header blanket, OPL Auto Parts aluminum radiator, NRG steering wheel, Sparco Junior Sprint seat, aftermarket front sway bar (no rear bar), and aftermarket 15 inch rims with 205/50/15 RE71Rs that should have a few more events left if they’re rotated. In addition, this car has gotten a lot of new parts since 2016 when I had about half the engine replaced (cylinder head, timing belt and water pump plus a bunch of gaskets) to get the car running again. Now for the bad: the top’s back window can’t be zipped up and the top has rips in it, so the car leaks, and the windows don’t properly seal against the top. A/C also doesn’t work. Has a clean, notarized title ready to go. Car is located in Surprise. I love this car and I’d really rather see it stay in the local autocross scene; asking $2500. Well, in the name of practicality, the WRX isn't doing me any good as a daily driver financially, so I've decided to sell it once I find an Outback to replace it, along with quitting autocross as senior year is coming up and I'm trying to prepare financially for moving after graduation. Anyone know of someone selling a well-maintained Outback for $3-$4k, preferably more toward the $3k end or less? I'm not looking for a race car, so either a stick shift or automatic will do, but stick is a bonus. I'm looking for a 4-cylinder normally aspirated one, not a turbo or a 6-cylinder.

I've got a bolt-in roll bar for NA Miatas, along with a harness bar and 2 Crow Enterprizes racing harnesses. I was going to use it in my 1990, but decided to put off track days until after college so it's just been sitting and I don't need it. Asking $250 for all of it.

I've decided I'd like to give my 2004 WRX a try in D street and see how it does, but I don't want to buy full-priced new tires. If anyone has a cheap used set of something like RE71s, RT615Ks or ZIIs lying around they'd like to sell in a 16-inch size, let me know. If they're already mounted on stock older WRX wheels too, I'd consider taking the set of wheels as well.

So, my Spark's transmission turned out to be shot at 88,400 miles. Thankfully, I got it looked at before the warranty gives up at 90,000, and it's getting a new trans under warranty. With that said, I don't want to know what other lovely problems are in store after the warranty runs out, so I'm going to replace it since it's evidently not the reliable, well-built car I thought it was. Anyone know whether these things are good at autocross? I definitely want the next car to be autocrossable. This one caught my eye because it's in Sun City (elderly owner I'm assuming who took really good care of it), it's only on its second owner, has low miles and looks like there's no way it's 16 years old. I just don't know much about the 7th-gen Si hatches, I've only seen 8th-gen or old 4th-gen and 5th-gen Civics as competitive autocross cars.
