I just posted a listing for a set of Pirelli P Zero performance tires in the "unrelated to autocross" catagory.

The sizes are (F) 245 40 18 and ® 275 35 18.

They may not be autocross "worthy" but they might fill a need for your street car.

Thanks for looking.

I have two Pirelli P Zero performance summer tires for sale.

Two are 245 40 18. They are in excellent condition, with no plugs, repairs or uneven wear. All have about 7/32" of tired left. Ready for many thousands more miles.

Asking $125 per pair. Pictures attached

Anyone that received the latest Grassroots Motorsport magazine saw that this year's calendar featured Mark and his Lotus Élan on the cover, although it doesn't identify him.

Mark, if you need an additional copy let me know. Mine's available.

You know how new parents describe the age of their children in months... Timmy is 15 months, or Susy is 19 months.

Well, it dawned on me the other day that I am now almost 839 months old! I've never given a lot of thought to "bucket lists", but this might be a good time to start.

First thought that hit me is, "are there any road trips that I need to make?" Over the "months" I've made some great ones and some not so great ones, but I just finished one that was on the list.

Back in 1960 I attended the Boy Scout Jamboree in Colorado Springs.

This was about 6 months after getting my driver's license. For a week I looked up at Pike's Peak and thought "how cool" it would be to drive up there. Well, in late August my beautiful bride and I made the trip in our 2003 Corvette.

The view on the way up was fantastic, although Elaine kept telling me to watch the road, that she would describe it. Probably a good idea, very narrow road, little or no shoulder, no guard rails in most spots and a 5000 foot drop down the hillside. At the top, the view disappeared into the clouds, which made the last 1/4 mile or so "very sporty".

I've attached some photos.

Anyway... over the "months" I've driven up the Pacific Coast Highway in California, down the coast road from Portland to San Francisco, the "million dollar road", Hwy 550 from Durango to Montrose, Co., Mulholland Drive in L.A., around most of the roads in the Big Bear/Arrowhead area in the Angeles mountains. Locally, the road to Tortilla Flats (of course), the road from Tucson to the top of Mount Lemmon and the old Rt 666 in Eastern Arizona. We've also toured many fine roads in Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico and even west Texas.

I'd like to do some of the roads in the Smokey Mountains and the Blue Ridge Mts.

So the question is... where else should I be looking?
