Hmmm.
I'm obviously not up to speed on whatever you and Bill are posting about.
I don't know of any "whoopin'" that's been happening to any Civics, unless you're talking about the impending legislation in ST.
That's the only way I know of that the Civic's are going down.

I have no idea about impending legislation, but the Dollmeyer vs. Rock showdown is often one of the highlights of many Phoenix or Tucson events. Two good drivers in two well-prepared cars! Everyone loves a good battle. smile.gif

(I think the video is pretty tongue in cheek, really.)

I'd be more interested in hearing about this impending legislation...might convince me to try running in San Diego next spring.

That would be a shame. Perhaps STC, C for Civics only? cool.gif

Not correct Scott.
Sunset rule still applies to stock classes only.
The re-org will not go into effect until 2012.
The Street Touring classes will all be similar to STR ( cars will be specifically included or excluded). It will no longer be formula based (i.e. - any car that fits ST = 3.1 liters or less, seats 4, etc...).
Therefore, there will also be no cars in multiple classes.
All the details have not been worked out yet, but let's say the Dave's lookin' good for 2012. smile.gif

^^^Yes. It's hasn't been covered yet in an individual forum. You'll have to read through several threads on the SCCAforums to find info...as you're doing.
