I've been doing a bit of racing in my garage that used to house my Miata.

Nice. Better than driving my tractor around cutting down weeds and seeing how many g's I can pull.

Brian and I have been sim racing a MX-5 cup car at Lime Rock Park. There was a iRacing coupon for a 3 month free membership include with our SCCA renewal membership envelope. We are using my son's gaming laptop and a Logitec 92 wheel, pedals, shifter and a open wheeler racing seat.

Don:

So, reading between the lines you had to sell the Miata to buy your simulator?

I thought about setting something similar up myself, and then my Sentra developed gearbox issues and that consumed close to $900 in parts so now I just sit in front of the computer and run old GoPro video's taken during the 2017 Manx Classic Hill Climbs!

So, what Class is that in SCCA, and what's your PAX Factor? tongue.gif

After I sold the Miata I insulated and installed AC in the garage, so I'm GTG. It's a single car garage that's not connected to the main garage.
