As of this moment, five winners have picked up their trophies from our last Series at my home or Marana Events.

Below is the list of those still not claimed.

Your options are (by arrangement):

1. Pick up from me at my home (near 67th Ave and Greenway)
2. I can take some to Marana Events (July 28th or August 25)
3. Any still remaining will be available at the next Az Region Event SATURDAY September 14th at AMP (eight weeks away).

Contact me to arrange by email or PM, both available in my Forum Personal Info. Let me know.

Hopefully you knew about this event, and have already registered. If not, would like to see you there.

Click HERE for Registration and Event details. Yes, registration still open until Friday night about 7:00pm.

That said, getting there and back from the northern regions can sometimes be a challenge. And this time, getting back North has a tough challenge or two. See the Map below.

At #1, returning afterward, the I-10 is closed from Riggs to the 202. They offer a detour, I plan on getting off even earlier and maybe taking Riggs to the 87 northward to avoid the mess. Choose your own poison, but be aware.

Prescott and Flagstaff folks also have #3 and #4 to deal with too, but not as bad.

Good luck.

Registration is open for the Series of four summer autocrosses hosted by Tucson Region at Marana Municipal Airport.
Cross-posting here in case some never read the Tucson Forums.

Here are their four dates:

They start a little earlier, and finish a little earlier, thus beating the hotter parts of these days. They pair their Work/Run Groups as A/B and C/D, so if one wanted to run once and work once, they'd be on the road home before 11:00 usually. Even if you stayed for TO's, the day ends around 1:00pm for all four Groups.

Click HERE for all Registration and Event details, and then go to Mind The Cones using their link to Register.

The Classing choices are very similar to what Phoenix does, but simpler and streamlined. One Pax Class, all Open Classes, a Novice Group, and Ladies.

You can also Pay using PayPal, but Tucson adds a $2.00 service fee to cover fees charged to them. Same drill; Register early for best choices, pay online to avoid onsite lines, very similar.

NOTE - I should be able to bring some of the Phoenix Spring Trophies with me, if you let me know you will be there (and you earned one wink.gif )

So, go sign up now. Way better than staying home and watching baseball or doing "Honey-do's". Heck, bring the spouse along.

See you there.

Yes, Registration has already opened for the only Summer Autocross Series in Arizona, to be held at the Tucson/Marana Municipal Airport. Tucson runs a Series of four autocrosses, one each in May/June/July/August on select Sundays. Marana is only about one hour south of Firebird Raceway (oops....."Wild Horse Pass"). tongue.gif

Greetings all.

The Trophies for the AZSolo Series just completed are ordered, and I should have them in hand by Thursday NEXT WEEK (May 16th).

Due to budget constraints (50%), these will not be as "robust" as earlier versions, but still nice representations of your success.

As shared before, due to light attendance at earlier attempts and budget limits, there will be no Awards Brunch this time.

So...... here's the plan.
  1. I live near 67th Ave and Greenway in North Glendale. Email or PM me to arrange a time to have you come pick up.
  2. I could bring some with me to the next Tucson Marana Event, Sunday May 19th. So, if you are one who attends those events too, just let me know. I will only bring those requested ( wink.gif ). PM or Email me (both are in my Profile Info).
  3. The rest I will bring to our next AZSolo Event, next Saturday September 14th (that's in about four months.....).

Did I miss anything?

Thanks.
