I had radical reconstructive surgery on my foot to correct a lifelong problem. Today, for the first time. I was able to walk without crutches since the surgery. Maybe not walk so much as hobble along for a very short distance like Festus in Gunsmoke. It will still be a little while longer, but autocrossing just became so much closer. I miss it and my buddies a lot.

Physical therapy is my next step. ( pun intended). And I suffered, the doctor assured me it would be excruciating, he was right. Physical therapy will be nothing.

Great news Kevin! Hope the progress to full functionality is quick and (relatively) painless. Best of luck!

So will you now be better at pushing the gas or pushing the brake?

Hey Kevin:

Glad to hear you're doing well, but, you said you were hobbling like "Festus" on Gunsmoke ... I'm old enough to remember that T.V. show and I think you mean "Chester." He was the one with the limp, Festus was the illiterate hillbilly. Oh, hang on, maybe you did mean Festus! tongue.gif

Take Care Mate ... hope to see you soon!
