With the purchase of Brian Peters' Jetta GLI, I now have to sell my 2004 Mazda 3 hatch. If anyone is interested, here are the specs. By the way, it has made a better than exptected autocross car, with good handling from the stock suspension and a willingness to lift throttle rotate that I didn't expect.

63K miles. 26mpg in the city, about 30 highway. Manual transmission. Car well cared for. All service done at dealer including oil changes. No mechanical problems. All power items work. Always garaged, all maintenance records available since original owner, new BFG G-Force Sport tires in January, no accidents, non-smoker, very clean interior. Battery just replaced. New thermostat. A/C works great! Selling car as I already bought replacement car. Power windows, locks, sunroof, mirrors, remote entry, tilt & telescoping steering wheel, Harmon Kardon Ipod interface with screen, cruise control, 6 disc CD changer, leather, tinted glass.

$11,500

This is by no means an imminent decision but I'm curious as to everyone's opinion on the matter.

Which car do you think would make the superior autocross vehicle: A Mazdaspeed 3 or a VW GTI with the DSG transmission?

I appreciate any feedback.

I have four 2004 STi wheels for sale. They are in excellent shap with no bends and only one small spot of curb rash and the tires on them have plenty of tread left. The wheels are 17X7.5 and have 225/45R17 Michelin Pilot A/S tires on them. Not a super sporty tire but the limited time I drove on them I found them to be plenty grippy for street driving. Will not split tires and wheels up. Not looking to ship them either. $900. Call James Frink at 602-909-0313. I'll also have one wheel with me at the autocross on Sunday August 13th.

This is really just a thread to get a hold of Brady since I don't know how else to contact him. If you read this Brady, are you going to return my wheels? If so, when???? And by the way, do yo want to buy four more Azenis with about 500 to 1000 miles left in them? biggrin.gif
I probably spelled your name wrong but oh well, you probably thought my last name was Frank anyway. tongue.gif

I am selling a full set of O.Z. Chronos Evolution wheels. I used these briefly on my 02 WRX that I sold a while back. I haven't used them in over a year since I've upgraded to an STi which they do not fit on. These are a 48 offset and are size 17X7. They have Falken Azenis tires on them that are size 225/45R17. They are quite well worn as they were my autocross tires but still have some life left in them. I prefer not to sell either the tires or the wheels separately. The wheels are 16.5 lbs each, which is the same weight of the stock WRX wheel. These wheels were $270 each when I bought them. I will sell the whole set for $600. These wheels are in excellent shape, have no dents or bends in them. They also give the WRX a great rally tarmac look. I don't know what else they will fit but the bolt pattern is 5X100.

I also have a Cusco adjustable rear sway bar specific to the STi that I am selling for $80.

Please e-mail me at bentley72@cox.net or call at 602-909-0313 if interested. Thanks.
