After a 20-mile turn around, a burger at the Red Onion in Heber, we came home through Show Low/Globe and got home at about 8:00.

I'm sure we made it before John Hogan since we saw him on the 60 with a flopping tie-down.

Congratulations Kevin on a well-run event. Too bad you couldn't control the mud slide.

Great time, but long drive home.

I have some friends of friends of friends who have a cool blog about their adventures on a sailboat, vintage VW bus around the world, and 1965 Porche 356C. They need to get the car from Puerto Vallarta Mexico back to the states and may need a place to leave it for a few weeks in Arizona.

If you have some spare space and would be willing to help out, check out the site below. Or just check out their site because it's very cool.

After spending my Friday night taking inventory of the massive amount of quality prizes that have been donated by our sponsors and purchased by the club, here's the details on the raffle prizes and tickets.

We will do it the same as last year. There are THREE levels of tickets.

There are over 40 Choice prizes (value up to $20 each) including car cleaning supplies, snacks, wine, hats, paper shredder, sunshades, plus several surprises for those who choose one of the "grab bag" prizes.

Over 30 Premium prizes valued from $20 to $100. Includes a $50 Visa cash card, DVD player, helmet bags, travel blankets, Aunt Chilada's Gift Card, Polo shirts, C-G lock.

Each person in attendance will receive one free ticket for each of the above. Additional tickets will be available for purchase.

In addition, we are fortunate to have great sponsors and we will have a 3rd category of tickets that are available for purchase only. These are our PRO series prizes.
These include:
Chase Cam (approx $600 value)
2 Hoosier race tires (2 cert available, approx $700 value each)
Evo Driving School Gift Certificate ($125 value)
NASA AZ certificate (up to $169 value)
Blackwatch Tire Bags (approx $189 value).

Last day for banquet registration will be Sunday at the event. Don't forget your wallet/checkbook. Hey, compared to auto-x, this is pretty cheap!

$15 per person for fun, food and prizes. And very cool prizes, too.

If you haven't already mailed your banquet registration, I will be at the event on Sunday taking final registrations.

We currently only have 32 registered and paid for the banquet with a minimum requirement of 60.

So, I think either a lot of you are hoping to save the postage or just delighted at the thought of seeing me in person at the event! biggrin.gif
