This is copied from a post by a very good friend of mine, so I apologize for the grammar errors in advance. I'm posting it here in the general section so that those who don't frequent the Flagstaff section but may think about going to this dealer can see it and be warned.
ATTENTION ANYONE: i had just recently bought a "new used" car from Peak Mazda when i had finished all the paper work i went to my husbands work and he was looking at my vehicle. he jumped on the rear bumper and was able to bounce it 4 inches off the ground because the shocks were so bad we also had a bad exhaust leak that we told them about and never did anything to fix it till we got really loud in the showroom with other customers in there. there was also a transmission sensor that went out not even a week after owning it they were trying to tell me i hade to pay to get that fixed but when i asked them how they knew it wasnt like that when they sold me the car because it never showed up on any of there scan equipment there tone started to change. Almost a month after all this we got a call from them again telling us we need to come back in and sign a new contract because the first bank never took our loan and that we were financed throught somebody else so, on top of that they are trying to take money directly out of our account for our "warrenty" wich is a third party and illegal to do as it is a breach of contract and this deal should be voided out completely so i hope you read this and ''DO NOT'' go to ''PEAK MAZDA IN FLAGSTAFF ARIZONA''! thank you for viewing I can verify the shocks being blown, I was at my buddy's work when his wife came over with the truck, straight from the dealer. My buddy's wife is MAYBE 110 lbs soaking wet, and she was able to hop the rear tires off the ground. I got into it yesterday with their "Master Technician" who I firmly believe got his ASE cert from a Cracker Jacks box. He told me that he put four brand new shocks on the truck when they received it in inventory. Also, the right front tire is worn out completely, with the outer edge bald and the inner edge on full tread. This technician told me that he's done an alignment, everything is 100% in spec, and that tire wear is due to under inflation. I've gone with my friend a couple times when he's dealing with situations with this truck, and we constantly get the run-around and their "Master Technician" John Gitre is very unprofessional and rude. He interrupted me several times yesterday, asking me who exactly I was and that "Well its not your truck, so it doesn't concern you." For the record, I've attended Arizona Automotive Institute for over 6 months, passed my suspension/chassis phase with flying colors, and worked in a tire shop for nearly 2 years in Phoenix. I've been in automotive classes since I was 14 years old (I'm 23 now). I'm sorry, I may not have the "ASE Master Tech" patch on my arm, but I know how to read tire wear and know there is something wrong with the suspension of a vehicle. One thing I do want to mention, Mike McCleod, their Service Advisor, is very professional and has tried to do everything within his power to help us out. I wish the other people at Peak Mazda would follow his professionalism and take care of the customer. However, based on how everyone else there has treated us, I would HIGHLY recommend to avoid this dealership for any business you may need.

I have a friend in Flagstaff who wants to do a couple of the events this summer and has asked me to help him out with learning the basics on how things work and how to help him get around the course. He's never done any organized type of racing, so he's a total n00b with driving his car "in anger". Would I be able to drive his car for one of his runs so I can give him a couple tips for the remainder of his runs? Or would I have to register as a seperate entrant? We're not looking for me to compete for the entire event, just do one run to see if I can give him a couple tips based on how the car feels. He would run the remainder of his runs. If it can't be done for insurance reasons, I totally understand, just figured I would ask ahead of time. BTW the car is a bone-stock 90's Acura Integra.

I finally got my tape of the Flag event in July uploaded and edited, check it out and feel free to comment.
My Cougar at Flagstaff Autocross If I make it to the Oct. 21st event, I now have my own video camera so I can get more video, and hopefully video of others as well.

I work at the Wal Mart at 19th Ave and Bell, right next to Turf Paradise. Recently TP paved a HUGE parking area that was formerly dirt, this area is probably twice the size of our current Firebird skidpad. It is open and flat, with no lighting poles on the lot. Across the street, there is another paved area that could serve as a parking/grid area.
I will go take some pictures this afternoon, but this caught my eye yesterday and I thought I'd throw it out there for the "powers that be" to look into.
