Any comments on surface or course design? More open, or "busy"? Been a long time since I've been to one. smile.gif

I thought the course design was good. Drag race off the tree to a hard right or left course, wide open to a slalom, offsets to a huge turnaround where it left plenty of room to hang yourself or.. get around the only cone there and get one more wide open shot before a few more offsets and a wide open finish.

Can't really judge the grip level "dry". Every time I put my helmet on it rained. Most of the time the "line" stayed sorta dry but it was still a challenge, especially in Howdys Vette. No complaints though, that car is wicked fast and just glad I have the opportunity to drive it.

Ah, so you got to be the designated "rain" driver!😄

Did not know there was any rain. Should have brought a little more back with you.......😉

Just in case anyone is interested now:

They quoted me $22,155. Seems pretty dang reasonable to me for a nice daily driver.

No matter what car, pretty sure the only time Jim would fear my driving is if he was a course worker during my runs...

Travis;

First off, thanks for doing air pressures for me at El Toro, helped out a lot.
The big Honda Accord was somewhat of a surprise at first, but after looking closer at the specs, mainly 8" wide rims on which large stickies are mounted. Decent torque, nice suspension, but still almost 1000lbs heavier than my car, but the car can use it's torque well.
My main problem I could not resolve was 60' times. I was giving up .4 each side at 60'. That's a bunch, and was the result of a few things I am now addressing. With the 60' time difference consideration, I was only .1 each side off the accords time, on course. Certainly addressable.
Shocks are off to Proparts, and 195s re71R's should be here in about the same time the shocks return. That combination should take care of my hookup problems, and improve my gearing.
Sorry Scott.
And Travis, there are some drivers I do give a wider safety distance for, when working on course. You are not one of them.

Jeff's driving is awesome, and that car doesn't suck.. Hopefully, it'll suck even less pretty soon!
