Finally, we are back in business, just in time to test your tune for Nationals! Deana Kelley will be designing the course. See you there, preferably by 8:00 AM because tech will be busy.

Hey all, what a nice day of autocrossing at the Sierra Vista Municipal Airport today.

Different and very challenging course design by Deana Kelly, at least Travis thought so (he nipped Deana today!.......shhh, don't tell anyone).

Good sized crowd, a few from up North made the southern journey, and all were treated to FIVE runs each. SV also does a parade lap too. The first four runs counted for time, the fifth was scored as a TO. Four additional TO's runs were provided for those with enough tires left. So i got NINE runs today. Not too shabby. cool.gif

Someone there always provides quality morning snacks, and today was no exception. Chocolate chip cookies and some great snacking bread.

This was a very nice day of autocrossing, and to top things off, their results are already posted too! Doesn't get much better than this.

Hope to see more of you northern folks maybe next time? beer.gif

Sorry SV. I threw in the towel. I threew away the fun runs and my runs all together. I think my best was a 34.0xx +1.

The course was soooooooo fun. It was a total momentum course if you had the stones. I didn't have the talent today to make it work. I cooked my TMIC as much as my brakes making the.... (can we get a change in 10 years) STI work. Lift.brake.turn.

Loved the layout. I'll add my vids soon.

This vid has me giving up too late on the SOB right outside corner on a 1st gear downshift. Giggle if you want... lol Seriously, it's fun to realize how much I enjoy grip again. I promise to post the in the car vid... I was so out of sorts that the wind shield wipers were on with blinkers ! lol. No, not my fastest run. That run was zero drama and just how to be almost ok autocrosser. hehehe.

Well, Sunday was (probably) the last serious event for my CAM-C Mustang. It (and I) had a pretty good day.
Paxing around 910 against Huffman with an '01 Mustang V-6 in CAM-C that gets over 26mpg and has killer A/C is a very good day indeed. beer.gif

That said, relative to my next car, better beware Gene. No more "Mr. Nice Guy". rolleyes.gif wink.gif tongue.gif

See you in Marana later this month. cool.gif
