Some of you may have heard the last event of 2016, November 12 has been cancelled as the site was double booked.

The organizers are looking for input on the 2017 schedule so if you have any please feel free to share here or you can email Lee direct at shadbolt@hairpinracing.com

They've been typically running events on Saturdays. I have given the recommendation of the 4th Saturday of the month, that would tend to avoid conflicts with autox events in Sierra Vista on the 1st Sunday of the month, in Phoenix the 2nd Sunday of the month and Tucson the 3rd Sunday of the month.

Having said that would Sunday events be more likely to get you to come out?

Also would like to hear from people that would consider RallyX what is keeping them from coming out? Is it the lack of a vehicle to drive, too many other events going on, schedule conflicts or ????

I'm seriously considering rallycross. I wasn't even aware that it was typically a Saturday event. As an autocrosser/track day/drifts-for-fun type, my fleet isn't really dirt friendly or safe enough in my opinion. I don't want to rallycross my 4x4 Titan as I'm afraid of tipping it or the Hellcat, because NO, and my 240sx is just too low to the ground... but I'm working on that.

~17 Subaru STI. Now - how to get more power to the rear.

That's too bad, I'm sorry I had to miss the last two events. First was my fault for just not checking the calendar, second was because we moved the two days of awesome autocross and created a conflict.

Saturdays and Sundays seem to be equally good for me.

My son's and I all want to do rallycross....but it is the drive from Phoenix that keeps killing us.
Being there at 7am means leaving by 5am at the lastest or going the night before, which is tough on a Friday.
The only advantage to a Sunday event is the ease of driving down Sat and playing in Tuscon, drive Mount Lemon or something.

But no matter what we are watching the dates and will make something happen to join the dirt party.

Tucson the 3rd Sunday of the month.

Just an FYI, Tucson Autocross is on the 4th Sunday of the month. We have been for years.

I request a rallyx prior to Jan 10th. That's when the Jetta goes in for buyback, so I'd like to send it off in style.

I would love to try it but my Mini is too low, FJ Cruiser is too high, and Minivan is well a minivan.

Spring dates have been posted to the AZ Rally Group Facebook page.

QUOTE (AZ Rally Group Facebook Page)
Feb. 18, March 18 25, and April 22

I'm out of the loop, but get the impression these are still preliminary.
April 22 conflicts with the Crow's Landing ProSolo, but I think that's preferable to conflicting with local autocrosses or the 3rd Annual Last Ever El Toro ProSolo... and especially preferable to being outside in May (at least for those of us with no AC in our cars).
