I am wondering how many events that you need to run to move from novice to open? I am currently in NV3 and I now have completed about 10 events since I started.

Thanks
Scott

Scott, here's from our Supplementals...

Novice: Anyone who has entered less than 6 events in the prior 12 months AND has not received a trophy in any class.

It appears you may have "graduated" some time ago....... wink.gif

You donít need to run any events for the move from novice to open, you could run open your first event. Most folks run novice to get a better appreciation what autox is all about and able to compete against other newbies before moving to open and the others (pax and sportsman)

From our website (I think is correct)

Now we need to just get Dov to quit running in Sportsman. I think he's afraid of the competition. wink.gif

I think it might expand to more than 4 drivers, I have a friend who's also going to be driving my car once he learns to drive stick better since it's better than his automatic Focus. Also, if we add Stephen King once he gets his car fixed and Dov that would make 7. That would be a nicely sized class!

Haha yeah I know if he comes back to STS no one else has a shot at winning. Hmmm, maybe his STS car will become CSP then? wink.gif

STS is coming. It's going to be hard to put down the CSP crack.. but I'll keep building the STS car to make it more competitive.

So you can increase the gap between you and everyone else from 5 seconds to 10 seconds in STS then? laugh.gif

If I remember correctly this is the same STS car that was on some old ass tires and still able to place in the top 10 overall PAX/raw time....

More competitive "Nationally". Locally I would have no problem letting anyone drive the car.

My car is under powered and will eventually get a tune and we'll see where that takes us.

How did I not know a proper tune was allowed for STS? My car is so powerless it's annoying, even with the timing set at 14 degrees. I've probably got more suspension stuff I could do first but don't want to pay for yet being in college. Maybe after I graduate, but then I just want to drive an S2000.

Looks like that section has had some modifications to the allowances.... Especially for 1995 and older. cool.gif

I see, that makes sense. I see a lot of dollar signs for the ECU mods though... I know those aren't cheap and I'm not going for national competition with this car!
