Thanks, Randy.

To you "other folks" who only attend pretty much one venue, each location (AMP/Marana/Sierra Vista) is a little different. Of course surfaces and lot sizes vary, as do course designs. Event structures and Grouping opportunities have differences also. I think this is a good thing.

To only go to one autocross location all of the time is like having pizza every night for the rest of your life. While it's good, too much of the same thing can get a little stale.

So try thinking of all three locations as a special little "Community of Autocrossers". If we all try to support each other, and "cross-train" when we can, the entire Community and Sport benefits. Granted, Sierra Vista is more than a few minutes farther south for many, but hey, once in a while as a special treat for yourself....... well, *I* think you deserve that. cool.gif Like ice cream, doesn't have to be all the time.

Same idea for Phoenix drivers to Marana, and vice-versa. Mix it up a little sometimes, expand your horizons.

With Sierra Vista, some are able to make an overnight adventure out of it. Drive down Saturday afternoon, stay the night, have a nice dinner out, breakfast in the morning, go do the event and drive home afterward. I mean, don't you (and yours) deserve something a little special at least once in a while? wink.gif tongue.gif

So, if you can, highly recommended. Give it some thought. Plan ahead, if not this time, maybe next time.

Hope to see a few more "Northerners" there on the 11th. Tips on Motels and Restaurants available.

(Did I forget to mention the really great grippy concrete there?) cool.gif

I forgot to add. This is our last event for the year, we have no SCCA event in December.

I've recovered from the crud and need a Sierra Vista fix.
Fair warning.

Well, looks like Harry and others from the Northlands will have clear sailing on the trek to Sierra Vista. Even more reason to plan a special treat for yourself and "SO" or co-driver this coming weekend.

Hope to see y'all there.
