Very interested in Saturday Practice Day updates...

1. cost by day or run
2. camping over night permitted
3. available for every every fall event
4. car limit
5. same course as Sundays event or would you run it backwards on Saturday to not give Saturday participants an advantage on Sunday

I hope AMP is generous and makes this affordable for the club... God knows I need some practice.

Del

I cannot answer the other questions you raised but AMP does not permit overnight camping.

Track rentals are $2,000+, so you would have to get enough people to chip in on that, plus convince people to come out for 2 days instead of just one, which is also usually hard to do :/

Instead of having Saturday as a practice non-profits event, how about making both days that weekend separate points events in order to get the minimum attendees to pay the costs.

Possibilities.......

Could there be a price break for the Club for renting two days instead of only the one?

Or....... Firebird used to give the Club a “volume” discount for holding over a set minimum number of events each year. Like if we held ten or more, the price per event went down. There was a scale.

Finally, might a there be a price break for us if we ran during the “less desirable” warmer summer months?

Wondering if any or all of these possibilities might be approached with AMP?

A lot of these are things that we discussed, Jim was going to approach AMP and see what our options are. Not going to make any promises, but we are going to investigate it.
