I’ve signed up, and am trying to talk Glenda into trying AMP again. Weather will be one of the deciding factors.

But, saw no way to enter her as a co-driver (in case negotiations are eventually successful), just a list of strangers, with no blank field to add her name.

How about some coaching here? Thx.

Registered and forgot to add TO. Not obvious how to edit. How does one do that?

I'll help you with that, Steve.

Scott, she'll have to register separately, if she registers after you, your name will show up in the drop down of drivers. It's just how they do it... Otherwise, there is a text box you can put additional information in.

Considering I haven't played cars in several months,
AND if I'm medically cleared to resume play later this week....

I'm FULL of questions...

Since You guys have migrated to Motorsport Reg accounts....
and I actually REGISTERED...

1. Are you all using actual car numbers and class letters now?
(my old MS Reg account defaults to #93)
Just want to know if I need to drag spiffy yellow numbers and letters out or not.
Don't get me wrong, chalk is fine and less hassle.

2. If I signed up for open do I still get run group preference?

3. I saw only I worker choice option instead of the old 3 choices version.
How is that working out?

4. If I pick up a co-driver, and they don't pre-register, can that still be handled on site?

5. If I end up driving someone else's car, in a different class, can that still be handled on site?

That's it for now...
Thanks...

Hey Harry,

1. No car numbers, you'll be assigned a run group and a run number as usual.
2. All categories get run group preference now. You can sign up for a specific group when you register, and the earlier you register, hte more likely you'll get it. Once a group is full, you'll be forced to register in a different group. This is technically still preference, as the chief of reg can still move you around to balance the groups if needed.
3. For workers, put your preference... registrar or chief of workers as usual will assign people as needed. I know everyone likes to sign up for observer, but we can only have 2 or so per run group.
4. Co-driers are a bit weird... if you are the first to register, you won't select the co-driver, as the drop down will only show people who are currently registered. So if you register first, your co-driver will see your name to select when they register. Or the other way around... if they register first, you'll see their name to select. Otherwise, there is an additional notes field, you can always put a note in there.
5.Yes, we can register people on site and make changes on site as necessary. It's actually much easier now to do those types of things then it was previously.

Hope this answers your questions!

Can't wait for the first time somebody pranks the system and claims they're co-driving Huffman's car...

What are the rules regarding having a guest come as a passenger? He wouldn't drive just watch the racing and sit in the passenger seat during my laps?

Kind Regards,
Chris

Passengers aren't a problem, they just need to sign a weekend membership form. It's free for passengers, just ask at the registration desk on Sunday and they can help you there.

I'm signed up to run for Time Only Group E but may not be able to stay late enough. Would I just work that out on-site tomorrow depending on if I can stay?

Correct... If you can't stay for to's, see the registration desk and we can help you out in the morning. I'd just ask that you don't wait till later in the day to tell us, I'd rather handle everything in the morning.
