We will be having our Spring 2020 SC meeting on Thursday, December 12th at 6pm. We'll be having it at the Spoke and Wheel (https://g.page/American-Resturant?share) The meeting is open to the general public of the club, so if you have any interest in seeing what the club is up to or if you are interested in helping out next year, this would be the perfect time to get involved. If you have any items that you think the club should consider, please let me know and I will get it on the agenda. This is the current agenda:

Agenda
Truck and trailer updates
Cost assessment for Fall 2019 series
- Registration numbers comparison for 2019 vs previous years?
Options to encourage more preregistration
2020 SC Members - who's staying, who's leaving?
State of the Driver's school
SCCA Road racer updates
Any equipment needs for 2020?
Street tire pax category - Is it needed?
Photographer work assignment clarifications
Jr waiver process

Dave -- last year lining the courses was approved by the Steering Committee. Personal circumstances have kept me away from autocrossing in the last year or so; but at the last event I attended and also the Dec. 1 event, I noticed the courses were not lined. Lining courses is a way to keep DNF's down to a minimum (which is probably one of the reasons all SCCA National courses are always lined). Please add lining courses to your agenda for tomorrow night.

Thanks.

From the SC minutes:

Courses will be lined, with sections to be lined identified by course designer and safety stewards per normal course design process.

SC only approved lining, as needed, in those sections identified by the course designer and SSSs. It was not approved to simply line the entire course. The SC can revisit the topic.

Thanks Sharon, I'll get it on the list. I know part of the difficulty was that AMP wants us to clean the lines off the course at the end of the day, and there's lack of help at the end of the day.
