Found these tires on tire rack, curious to see what others input would be on some new "old" tires. They are nearly half off from orginal price.

Are you going to use them for autocrossing or grocery getting? If for grocery getting they will be fine. They are decent tires. If for autocrossing, they may be like rocks. They're 5 years old and they may not be that grippy anymore.

I believe Brian Peters has run these on his 1LE with great success (but he is also one of those so called "alien" drivers we speak of), hopefully he can chime in.

You can be rest assured that he is not tunning 5 year old tires and I doubt that would hold him back much. I kinda wish he would so I can close that gap some.

They will be fine. Just don't expect them to perform like new. That's a crazy good price for a 20 inch rim.
