I found a good shop today and thought I'd pass it along since everyone's always looking for a place to get tires mounted.

Precision Tire
717 S. Hacienda
Tempe, 85281

(480) 379-0711

$8.50 per wheel, and they didn't give me any fuss about mounting race tires, didn't scratch up my wheels, what order to put the tires on, no waiting in line. The same guys have been there for four years and they do a lot of high end OEM wheels. Good place. I'm not getting anything out of this, just thought I'd post it in case anyone else is looking for a good tire shop.

Is that $8.50 for mount and balance or just mount?

I just wanted to add that Precision Tire can get a pretty good price on tires too. I was thinking of mail ordering some Falken Ziex 512's for daily driver use but Precision was able to give a price including mount and balance that was just about as good as the loose tire prices from online sources.

So, if they are close to you it might be worth a call to Precision. YMMV.

If I had to guess I would say: Yeah sure, why not. tongue.gif

I don't know what TPMS wheel sensors are but from talking to them I gather that alot of the business they do is with body shops so I would guess they deal with them in that regards.

I'd say call them up and ask. I don't think they would try to claim they can do stuff they are not equipped to do as they seem to inspire a higher level of confidence in me then the average tire shop.

It's a "basic" shop.. but once they know you you'll get some of the best prices on M & B anywhere! Often free! smile.gif
They can get most tires locally pretty darn cheap.. give'm a try and say you're from the solo2 crowd!

Finally, good West Side tire mounting option!!

Fletcher's Tire and Auto
15420 W Van Buren St
Goodyear AZ 85338
Phone: (623) 935-1188

10 bucks a wheel mount and balance, a tech with the nametag "Dirt" is who I dealt with. smile.gif

I was impressed that they didn't throw my stuff around like other tire shops, were careful with the wheels and took their time. Didn't even seem to mind me standing around hassling them with what-wheel-goes-where type of requests. I haven't hit them with the 245/35/18 v710 on an 8" wheel challenge yet, but they did a good job.

Fletchers in Buckeye on Watson road had no problem at all mounting up 12x16 Hoosier slicks. Can't remember if they were only $10 per tire, but they were very reasonable, at close to that price.
