I'm guessing that I'm not the only person with extra springs laying around in their garage. Eventually, I would like to try out some new spring rates on my car. A pair 2.5" springs isn't cheap, especially if you are just testing (ie...guessing). That gave me an idea for a local spring loaner program.

If you have 2.5" ID Race Springs that you are not using AND you are willing to lend them out to a fellow autoxer, then please post your springs in this thread.

No, I think you're just fine. tongue.gif

I have 2 pairs of springs in my garage. Don't remember the spring rates offhand, I could look them up, but they are most definitely not the rates I need. Anyone have a tester?

Ok, checked the for sale thread I got them in...they are 5" 425lbs and 7" 250lbs...take 'em, I don't need 'em.

6" 440 and 6" 500. I'd like some 7" 450 for when I set up for HPDE stuff as the 6" are a little short.

I have some 7" 450's jeff. I'll take the 500's if you want to trade, mine are generic, but the rate is printed on them.

I'm not sure what I want to experiment with next (Brad, what are we doing? ph34r.gif ), but you're welcome to borrow the springs and test them out.

Clint,

The 500s are for the rear so I will need to keep those. I'm pretty sure they wont be on the car for a while if you need to borrow them to test out.

I'm guessing that I'm not the only person with extra springs laying around in their garage. Eventually, I would like to try out some new spring rates on my car. A pair 2.5" springs isn't cheap, especially if you are just testing (ie...guessing). That gave me an idea for a local spring loaner program.

I have purchased many items from these guys. (since 1998) Good customer service too. Their price on H&R 2.5" ID 8" long 800lb springs is $59. They will price match.

I have some 990lbs, 1100lbs and some others if you would like to try them first.
If you like them- you can buy them for whatever you feel is fair.

I do but they are on my car. Another problem with them is they are the 2.25" (vs 2.5"). I have the smaller 2.25" GC sleeves and collars so if I ever decide to try something else I could trade the entire setup (assuming someone gives me their 2.5" GC's).

I have a pair of 5.5" unknown brand springs. They measure 3/8" diameter and 5 coils. Anybody know the math?

Looking for a couple of pairs of 7" springs. Ideally around 300 for rears (I'll take Manfred's 250s?) and 500 or so for the front. These will be going on Beastie for its return to glory! Donations GLADLY accepted! tongue.gif

Also have just 1 (of course) 7" 300 lb Eibach, if that will do anyone any good? Run some "wedge!" laugh.gif
