I'm looking to simplify things in my life, and I don't really have the room or time to properly play with a 'prepared' car, so it's time to see if there is any interest in this.

The car runs great, and has trophy'd at Nationals with a better driver than myself.

Pictures: 1985 CP Camaro

In-car video: In-Car Videos

The only thing that has changed in the pictures is the relocation of the oil-sump and battery to the rear seat to make room for a passenger seat, and the addition of a tach with shift light and oil pressure warning light on the steering column.

Feel free to contact me with any questions if you are seriously interested in the car. I will consider offers of trades for a simpler car (stock or sp trim - Miata, Corvette, Mustang, pretty much open to considering anything).

I would like to get $16k for the car. I'll include my trailer if needed for an additional $1k, or will sell it separately after I sell the car for $1500.

PM me here, or email bweikert at cox dot net.

1985 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28
355 c.i. V-8 built by Brooks Racing Engines in Colorado (the engine build alone was over the asking price for the car). Estimated crank HP at 520+. 8000 rpm redline.
TH-350 transmission with 'slap shifter'. Recently rebuilt.
4.56:1 Trutrac posi rear end - Ford 9" with custom axles and F-150 bearings. New ring & pinion gears.
16x12 wheels all corners.
Full length exhaust with changeable tips - quiet tips easily meet San Diego sound.
Full roll cage, car is extremely rigid.

Ballasted to class weight, can be lightened 200+ pounds with ballast only.

Feel free to ask questions, I'm sure I'm leaving out tons of interesting stuff.
