Finally have a few minutes to stop by and give a little intro. I'll keep it simple and say that our main objective is to offer support to people just like ourselves. That means you guys, HPDE, Time Trials etc. Although we spend most of our time at track events(as they seem to always fall on the same day as autox, and we're a registered vendor) we started in autox thanks to people like Kev and Brian.

Right now we're 99% retail, but we're hoping with enough business this year that we can get our bay setup and have a tech on hand. We're working towards offering custom alignments and corner balancing. We currently have a new set of Longacre scales and will be offering a simple weigh(full weight, corner weights etc) , and will soon get a weigh day together for you all. Please call on Wed. and Fridays for weighing.

As for retail, we stock Hawk pads, Amsoil, Redline and Motul fluids. If we get enough requests for certain Hawk pads(vehicle specific), we'll stock 'em. We can get most any performance parts for most makes/models, though we do cater(stock) mostly towards subaru/evo's. On top of that, we carry the full line of Piloti's, driving gloves, t-shirts etc.

I think Brian and Kev can vouch for the amount of support we've been providing for locals, and we'd certainly like to continue. Thanks to all of you that have supported us!

Absolutely. Surge has been providing discounts to Solo2 Participants and raffle prizes for our banquets for quite a while.

FWIW, I think pilotis have to be worth 2-3 PAX points laugh.gif

Or call/stop in on Wed and Fri(I'm there all day, those days as I still work another full-time job!). Marion is there all day saturdays(he works another full-time job, too!)

Just ask for the "shop"... They may sound confused, but just give them the secret code word "Viagra"... ph34r.gif

Yeah if you want to smash through the front window you could probably make off with, uh, maybe 3 quarts of redline oil or something. I drove by a couple weeks ago and noticed the place was closed up and almost totally cleared out.

Yeah, Marion and his business partner couldn't find anyone to work at the shop full time, and they had to keep their day jobs so then ended up closing. But from what I know they are going to still show at some of the local track days, not sure about autox

Well I got a hold a WGNTHS through another board an he told me they were shut down and it was too late to use the certificates. It's too bad because I had gone down sometime ago and picked out some Piloti shoes but they didn't have my size and were gonna call when they came in. They never called and I never followed up till it was too late.

At this point I'd take whatever Redline I could get in exchange for the certificates laugh.gif

Might be time to remove them from the "Sponsors" list. I'm trying to find some local ATE brake fluid and thought I'd check if Surge had it.
