It was so great to get away from the heat (and sad to come back to it), and I just wanted to chime in with a HUGE Thank You to the hard-working folks in Flagstaff that put on the events. It is so nice to smell the pines, enjoy a great weekend with good people, and get the hell out of ... HELL !!! laugh.gif biggrin.gif cool.gif

Thanks to you Bev for comming up to hold the class and giving up your Friday night for us. I'm glad you had a great time in the pines...thanks for keeping my wife company she sure enjoyed it. Hope to maybe see you up here again if not we'll see you in the fall series in Phx.

Kelly and I also want to thank Bev. Everyone in the club here in Flag really appreciates your help and training that you did this weekend.

Thanks to everyone for a great event....we will keep working hard to make them even better.

This one caught me by surprise... for some reason I was thinking of a different weekend!

Ironically Susan and I were in Flagstaff this weekend for some long awaited rest from our hectic schedules.

We happened by the site on late Saturday afternoon after finishing grocery shopping and it looked like it was well attended. Could have stopped by for a few minutes, but the food was getting hot.... and I didn't want to mess with the waiver blink.gif

Not sure about the other weekends scheduled this summer, yet.

My favorite is the 48.8xx run on Saturday biggrin.gif

Just had to add in one more thanks and "Great event!!!" to the folks in Flag. I'd list all of the things that were perfect but that'd be too long of a list and I'd list some ideas for improvements but I can't think of any.

And an entertaining video of "5-17-08 Flagstaff - In Car Cam." Fastest time with windshield wipers on. Turning them off mid-corner is pretty cool! tongue.gif

Dave,

That was pretty funny!
I was hanging on for dear life and somehow managed to turn them off.

I've been out of town, so I have yet to chime in ... I had a really great time at the two events this last weekend. The two courses were so very different, and thus required very different strategies, which was fantastic. And the number of runs - wow. Thank you so very much to the friendly and hard working Flagstaff folks for the outstanding event.

Thanks to all who participated, as you know it takes you to make an event and without the support of the Phx folks, I'm sure we'd about be short handed to run one. Thanks again and for the kind words.
