Thanks to everyone that helped up and showed up to have fun at the double event today. Despite the strong winds we did not have any cones knocked over unintentionally.

The photos taken today are at the link below.

Thanks to those who showed up and helped out and made for a great event. The courses were lots of fun! the first one wasn't meant for my car on the out bound stretch, but the return to the finish was fast and fun. The second course was much better flowing and felt better to drive. All in all had a great time, and my son was working hard to out drive me which he nearly pulled off due to my random cone fatalities. Chase was so inspired by his driving skill today that he has vowed compete till he has out run his dad. That may not take too long if I don't step it up a notch. ohmy.gif laugh.gif rolleyes.gif

Thanks for the pics Rob!

I'm sorry I missed out. But I didn't want my radiator to finally let go messily on course. That would have been embarrassing. sad.gif

Here are DRAFT results. Nice job Doug Rouse and Bill Fisher. Doug took top PAX for event 1 in Dave'e Mini and Bill for event 2. Note that this is Bill's second event in the S2000 and yes he did get a second set of wheels and Hoosier A6 tires.

Dang, I sure wish I didn't have to do this, but the course worker at the crossover told me that I had a cd on every run in the first session - even the my winning third run. He said he thought his walkie-talkie was working intermittently, so the time keeper and announcer never heard him. I told him that he should tell whoever was keeping times to correct the records, but I guess he didn't.

He did, but it looks like it didn't get communicated well enough (i.e. i may have forgotten to make sure it made it on the sheets). The Eddy brother in the Kart had the same problem. I'll let the results guy know. Thanks for being honest. =]

I would always to want lose fairly rather than to win by cheating. The only part that kinda bugs me is that if I know I had gone off course again, I would have two runs to try to correct it. Oh well ... life goes on.
