I've been told I HAVE to go to the 22nd of March. So I need to figure out what class my car fits into.

1994 Mazda Miata
Stock 14" Wheels running 185/60/14 Bridgestones
Modified Stock Intake
Jackson Racing Headers
Exhaust
Struts and Springs
No Roll Bar Yet

Thanks guys

You can run in STS, UNLESS you have a Torsen differential in the car. That is a street tire class, and your mods are allowed there, but the Torsen is not, on the '94-'97 Miatas. Otherwise, you are stuck in CSP on street tires, and that's gonna suck!!! Ah well, gotta start somewhere, ... Welcome! You are about to have the most fun in your car other than top down, revs up on a nice curvy road. Good luck on those Bridgerocks! LOL ...

Of course I could be wrong, and if so, others will pipe in with better info! biggrin.gif

DuBy,
For either class, I have a set of wheels & tires you can borrow for the weekend. You will have to fetch and return them. They are 15x6 wheels 195/50-15 RE01R tires. PM me

Thanks for the advice guys. I'm with you on the bridgerocks comment. I don't like them on my RX8 and I certainly don't like them on my MX-5. They'll have to stay for now though. I won't have the new tires on until after the 22nd. After that I'll be ordering a set of Hancook Ventus RS-2s 195/60/14.

Mike, thanks for the offer. I think I'll stick with what I have for now, but I'll keep you in mind if I'm ever in a pinch. Sorry to sound dumb, but aren't you Will's friend? I'm pretty sure I know you by a different screen name on AZMC.

Cheers

P.S. Newb question here. What do STS and CSP stand for? Thanks.

DuBy,

No sweat. Yes I am Will's friend on AZMC. I have the 10AE Miata and GT500.
This will tell you about the classes.
