I have a friend in Flagstaff who wants to do a couple of the events this summer and has asked me to help him out with learning the basics on how things work and how to help him get around the course. He's never done any organized type of racing, so he's a total n00b with driving his car "in anger". Would I be able to drive his car for one of his runs so I can give him a couple tips for the remainder of his runs? Or would I have to register as a seperate entrant? We're not looking for me to compete for the entire event, just do one run to see if I can give him a couple tips based on how the car feels. He would run the remainder of his runs. If it can't be done for insurance reasons, I totally understand, just figured I would ask ahead of time. BTW the car is a bone-stock 90's Acura Integra.

You can't run if you aren't registered for the event. If you don't register, then I'm sure you can find a regular to help him out.

Cool, thanks for answering that so quick. Doesn't hurt to ask ahead of time! I'll see what I can do from the passenger seat then.
