Today was a blast! I actually scared myself a little today. I couldn't quite get Dons rocketcar with his new Hoosiers but it was fun.

As a course worker on the north end it looked like on the first two runs of the first group most got to the end of the road and wasn't expecting the course to end. I think it was easy to focus on the moment... flying through the off sets side to side then...AHHH!!! time to turn around. blink.gif

Alan...you were flying today. Nice lines and I think it is time to get some stickies for your miater. biggrin.gif

Thanks for all who came out and helped make this a fun event.

That was a great course, one of my favorites from BDI. I couldn't believe how well the Mazda 3 performed on crap tires. Next time out I'll be in H Stock on reasonable rubber, so watch out! Doug and Don were really screaming out there. Good thing the weather held up. Sorry I had to run and not hang out for hoddogs and root beer. Somebody has to fight crime during the Superbowl.

John,
I didnt get a chance to thank you for letting me drive your car ! I think I did a best of 75.x ? I love how it will oversteer on approach... that and ABS. The ABS alone is better than building an old Honda if you ask me.

It's true, Alan was really putting the spurs into his miata. **Hey Alan** take off the rear bar and buy a set of 710s. That car has crazy potential... and thanks again for letting me drive the miata and bmw, again. hehe.

I pick up the new motorset in a couple of weeks and hopefully wont have to look for a ride for next month.
